look what i found in a small tree in the middle of our backyard, im a little shocked its taken me so long to notice, three wee eggs. im sure i havent noticed cause my days of gazing out a window seem to have been put on hold. its exciting to have them at our house, and happly gaze out to the mumma bird with that knowing look in my eyes.....i hope she enjoys that sitting around nesting thing hummm oh to be sitting around
things are moving at little slowly around here, i started another canvas that started well.....and you know how it goes had to use all my will to not paint over it so ive popped it out of sight and will pull it out again soon. ive also got to get some cars and caravans into craft victoria in a few days and have made a few changes, its great to have another go at getting the toys to work a little better....any way am keen for any feed back..i took this photo at night so it could be too dark to see ill post a clearer on in the morning...ive yet to get started on the caravan.
other wise its been me, tissue paper, glue and my daily dose of play school. the show has become my major source of inspiration....humm maybe i should get myself to a gallery. what the props dept can do with paddle pop sticks and sticky tape is amazing...i think that would be my dream job.
well its non stop craft at our house.... this week its rockets and sea monsters out of toilet rolls (yet again) and egg cartons. i love how children can befriend a toilet roll, dressed up and walk it around the house.
talking of toilet rolls ive been out every night this week catching up with friends (not toilet rolls). nara is out playing at the speigel tent for the melbourne festival each weekend with vulgargrad. so hes out being rock and roll and coming home smelling rock and roll. the smell took me back to a time before babes and felt like i need to make up for lost time......a week is definately not enough time but jez its tiring... so no craft this week and maybe thats a good thing...all that stitching hummm. instead i painted up a wee canvas of a drawing i posted months ago. maybe its a good thing i never had boys, imagine trying to hang out with your friends in a get up like this.....charming....
and finally a proud mother moment, a drawing by marta
