this is all i can show at the moment ..i am working on it night and day to get it finished for martas 4th birthday.

there is something in me wishing i had just gone to a toy shop and bought a box of lego....too late now

long pants for all

busy busy busy...yep too cold for short skirts...its long pants and gum boot weather (or gumboot dancing if that too takes your fancy)
i cant say i whipped them up but atleast i can say there done... and my prize is a little bit of show and tell

the prints are gocco prints the girls and i did two months ago... yep all that fabric has been hanging around, filling up cardboard boxs and adding to that look of general clutter.... so no pennies spent on this little project and have chipped away at some of that crap that fills up my work space

oh yes where would we be without play school (childrens tv show) bit of string on a toilet roll and there you have it more wrapping paper.

linen bound romance novel..... i thought i could spare myself the experience so it stay in the book shop.

we have been on the road for the past month. yep bags packed, pjs on and off we went. First to the adelaide fringe festival then up to sydney for the great escape festival. its wacky taking your children to a festival where you can be sure that most of the population are off the face but i figured that if we introduce them to it now maybe they wont go so sick when they are teenages...hum.

anyway travelling by road in australia is but far one of my most favorite things to do...i loved every second of it. so maybe one day we will rig up a caravan to the back of our car and drive off into the desert.

so here it is ...im going to have a 4 week break from blog land...yep its turned into tv for me.
i seem to spend heaps of time chewing through the virtual blog world...and with such limited amounts of time these days ive decided to challenge myself with staying off the computer and spend more time at my painting table

a girl ofter my own heart, this girl isnt thinking smiles and leg waxing oh no shes got mathematics on her mind...yep shes busy. that face, deep in thought is often confused with grumpy or worry but oh no shes simply deep in thought and probably hasnt even noticed you.

so this images is for all those thinking girls who get pissed off when a fellow walks by, interups your thoughts and tells you to cheer up !!!!

when i grow up

have a look at this womans work, maybe lots of you have, i saw her web site last week and this morning saw this book at a bookshop. the images juliemorstad creates are truely beautiful.
